whee. the cable speed is zooming. this rox.
a piece of bad news...not moving till nx weekend. hahaha...very good man. plans have been changed umpteen times. dad thot i'd prefer to move later so that i could concentrate on my prelims here in this same home, with the same bed and same environment. true, it'll help but not when i myself am anxious to go over. ah..nvm. no choice anyway.
went to pizza hut last night. it was so dead embarrassing. haha. dad was really irritable and so many things got on his nerves. the soup was not hot, but i wont say it's cold either, and he kicked up a big fuss over it. this was what happened: he scooped a mouthful of soup and tasted it. i was nx to him doing the same exact thing. he reacted faster though, and erupted, "the soup is so cold!". sis and i were shooshing him up. "what's there to shoosh about?! blah blah blah...." goodness, ppl were staring. then he called a waiter and told him loudly that the soup was too cold. the waiter said that others had already complained too, and he'd gone to check with the manager. dad started commenting on the efficiency and whatnot. whoa. could the ppl at other tables just go back to their food and stop staring?!?! and i stupidly carried on drinking that 'cold' soup. then he said, "denise! stop drinking already!"...-_- but im okay with it right....argh, so forget it, had to abandon the soup too. wanted to just dig a hole and bury my head inside.
as if a day of pandemonium at home wasnt enough...
today dad gave me the privillege of studying without having to help in the packing and moving. haha! :D sis is jealous. oh wells, i'd rather move than study really...hafnt got much time left aniwae. just realised that some maths thingy that i wrote last time is in the textbook which i have already shifted over to the new place. gotta crawl over to get it later. *sigh*
sis is trapped at the piano sch. apparently dad forgot all abt her cos he was busy with the moving of furniture. poor sis. haha. mum's gone to her rescue.

out of all the rainbow-featured pictures, this particular one attracted me the most. just love the elephants. can imagine them crossing the savannah at a languorous pace. how gorgeous. i wish i could go see them for myself. at botswana or sth. watched on tv the other day how this family goes abt snapping photographs of animals. what a beautiful life. a retired couple passing on the task of photography to their descendents...to their children and grandchildren. i wish i had such an opportunity...

covered with dust again. aiks. have been moving stuff all over for the entire morning. and this is not going to be the end of the moving process. today's just the beginning. ha! great. havent done any revision except for a little of a maths. wonder how im going to survive. it gets on my mum's nerves to see either me or sis sitting down and doing sth other than packing. so, if this entry gets cut off halfway, u'll know what happened..
mum's angry with dad for wanting to disown our furniture. urgh. and i kindly sat there and spared her a listening ear. afterall, i know how frustrating it is to have no one to complain to. hehx. dad's going to be in trouble. and there's probably going to be a world war tonight. haha. what's new...
and mum's irritated with dad for registering me as a buddhist the last time i made my ic. like wth...thks to the policeman two days ago who clarified with my mum, "can i check with you? you and your husband are freethinkers and your daughter's a buddhist?" yaya, and that triggered off the whole nagging. what's wrong with being buddhist anyway? gosh. whatever.
oh. i nearly got crushed by this cupboard. idiotic. was saved by the recliner. thank god. i emptied the cupboard's contents into four boxes and for some reason, it kinda lost its cg and came falling foward the minute i turned my back on it. and i onli realised after i saw the recliner clinging onto it desperately for its life. the irony's that mum actually said that the recliner was so big and idiotic. haha! but it saved my life. hehx. :) and i happily stepped on a piece of glass. [a bottle of liquor broke in the kitchen before that] went out to the garden and was wondering how come my toe was hurting. and lo and behold, it was blood-stained. haha. limped back into the house and plucked out that helluva piece of glass. haix. what an eventful packing experience.
mum just came in to ask me to study. ARGH!!! seems like the word 'mum' has dominated my entire entry. -_- gtg, tata.

slacked the whole of ystday. helped sis with her sc proj. hehe. so fun. obviously better than studying. so cant be helped. :)
was woken up by the thunderous voices of my grandparents. or rather, grandparent. fancy coming down all the way from woodlands at 8+ in the morning? astonishing amount of energy they have. and apparently, becos one person starts talking loudly, the rest of the group follow suit and unwittingly vie for the "who has the loudest voice" prize.
parents are all up to their necks. moving some boxes over today. dont think we'll be done in time. the new owner has given us an extended period of time to move and that has pacified mum's heated mood a little. they've allowed till tuesday, that is.
went to the police post ystday to get a change of address. the policeman was pretty humorous. he was a boyscout in his early days! haha. was so funny to imagine him out in the wilds with his compass, rummaging for food in the wilds. hehx. and as usual, we made a fool out of ourselves there. had to control myself from cracking up in laughter. that guy is real funny. :)
the mystery of the lost a maths papers has been unraveled. found them inserted in my lit flie. now i remember how that happened. we stayed back to discuss and i carelessly slotted them in the file in a hurry to leave and there goes - another evidence of my goldfish memory. ;)
had some daft dream with daft characters. sad to say that the daft characters were members of the Crescentian family. ha.

studied. at long last. finally got the momentum.
that croc files guy..i forgot his name..his dog's stricken with cancer. and he cried! he sure has this real strong bond with his doggy. he said this, "i cant believe my girl has cancer"...it was touching to see how he arranged for the vet to come to his house instead of sending the dog to the hospital because he 'put himself in the dog's shoes'. so sweet. his dog is lucky to have him as its owner. :)
hafnt heard from u for quite some time. dont know why i bother remembering your existence but anyway, im still wondering who u truly are. i was so wrong to think i'd found someone whom i could trust implicitly...or rather, someone who didnt put up a false front. anyway, i dont care now.
yash, gimme a call when u read this ya? spare me the inconvenience of freaking out. :) thks.
sizzling hot onion rings beckon me. ciao.

it's the 'holidays'. dreading studying more and more...the pace is getting slower and slower. so much to clear. not as worried if it were the Os. thinking abt the lit notes sitting in school. dont know when i should go collect them. it's so ridiculous to make someone go back to sch just to collect a stack of notes. urgh. will prob do it when either mum or dad's on leave this week. another disadvantage of the sch being a considerable distance from home. *sigh* so many things to worry about.
back to watching nat geo and animal planet and discov channels. that wave of wanting to learn something new has made its reappearance. i like it though. heh. :) i like it even better when mum or sis watches with me. it's nice to watch with others. watching tv alone can get pretty lonesome. my sis likes lions and elephants. and my mum finds pandas cute. ha! things i never knew. watched this documentary on iguanas that can swim. how gruesome. was cowering in the sofa while mustering enough courage to keep my eyes on the tv. "confronting my fears". haha. yucky iguanas.
moving this weekend. cant wait. :) just realised that some of the construction guys are quite cool. haha. sth that i cant voice out in front of my family. haha. oh...there wont be koi till a month later. sth abt allowing the water to run thru the system first...dont know a thing abt such stuff. koi or no koi, doesnt make much diff to me anyway. hehe. they're there just to let me throw food at and to irritate. hehx. :)
missing school already. school without exams. and i still want those adrian mole books.
